DGMS FIRST/SECOND CLASS COAL/METAL EXAM PATTERN

TYPE OF EXAMINATION,EXAM PATTERN & PASSING MARKS IN DGMS FIRST/SECOND COAL EXAM

EXAMINATION MODE FOLLOWED IN DECEMBER 2021 WAS AS GIVEN BELOW:-

1 The examination for each subject consisted of a Computer Based Test (CBT) of three hours duration and 150 Questions were there.
2. Each question was of 0.8 marks & there was 0.2 negative marks for each wrong answer.

QUALIFICATION MARKS

In order to qualify a candidate must had to obtain in the Computer Based Test not less than 50% of the
maximum marks in each paper i.e. at least 60 marks out of 120.

NOTE- IN 2015 EXAM THERE WAS NO NEGATIVE MARKING IN CBT TEST. IN 2016 COAL/METAL DGMS EXAM FOR EVERY QUE 0.8 POSITIVE MARKS FOR EACH QUE WAS THERE AND 0.4 NEGATIVE MARKS FOR EACH WRONG QUE.
